The Rams defense, led by Jalen Ramsey, and, of course, Aaron Donald, led a dominant effort yesterday en route to a 23-16 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. The defense held the vaunted Seahawks offense, led by potential MVP Russell Wilson, to only 16 points and also forced them into three turnovers.
The win pushed the Rams to a 6-3 record and into a three-way tie atop the NFC West with the Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. This is clearly the best division in football to this point in the season. While Jalen Ramsey has been overall good as a Ram, yesterday was perhaps his best game he’s had with the franchise and showed why he’s considered one of the top corners in the game. Ramsey helped lock down vaunted Seahawks’ receiver DK Metcalf to only two catches, his lowest total of the season.
If the offense can start humming like we’ve seen Sean McVay teams do in the past, can the Rams emerge as a super bowl contender?
