Last night, the Dodgers came out of the gate slow and found themselves down 5-0. Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell was dominant, holding the Dodgers hitless in the first four innings. The Dodgers made a valiant comeback effort behind home runs from Corey Seager and Chris Taylor, but ultimately fell 6-4.
The loss was no surprise, as the Rays are a very formidable opponent and had the best record in the American League this year and second best record overall, behind the Dodgers. This has the makings of a long series. We are looking forward to Game 3 on Friday. Reminder that we have all your Dodgers’ World Series gear available here.Go Dodgers!
