Over the weekend, the Dodgers signed free agent pitcher Trevor Baeur to a three-year, $120 million contract. Baeur’s addition to the rotation coupled with David Price’s return after he sat out the 2020 season gives the Dodgers, on paper, perhaps the best starting pitching rotation in the league.
Baeur is a Southern California native, so the Dodgers and Angels seemed like natural fits to his free agency plans. In 11 starts last season with the Cincinnati Reds, Baeur went 5-4 with a 1.73 ERA with 100 strikeouts to go with only 17 walks as he took home the National League Cy Young award. The 2020 champions just got even stronger!
