Tonight, for the first time ever, the Dodgers and the Lakers will have postseason games on the same night. This, of course, is due to the NBA’s long layoff due to COVID-19. With the Lakers already in the NBA Finals and the Dodgers owning the best regular season record in the entire MLB, this is a great opportunity for both teams to take home a championship.
The last time both of these storied franchises won a championship in the same season was 1988, which is also the last time the Dodgers won the championship. The Lakers last won a ring in 2010. While hopefully there are championship celebrations in the coming weeks for both franchises, you can commemorate the Dodgers’ division title and the Lakers’ conference championships here!
