Lakers Will Face Miami Heat in NBA Finals

After closing out the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night behind 38 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists from LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers advanced to their first NBA Finals since 2010. All Lakers’ series thus far in the postseason have ended in five games.

Last night, the Miami Heat closed out the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals and will be the Lakers’ opponent in the Finals. The Heat were not on most people’s preseason lists of potential Finals teams, but they’ve proven themselves to be a worthy opponent in taking out the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in addition to the Celtics.

Lakers-Heat figures to be an intriguing series, particularly when you take into account that LeBron won his first two championships as a member of the Heat. Congratulations again to your 2020 NBA Western Conference champion Los Angeles Lakers! Get your 2020 NBA Finals t-shirts here today!
