One year ago today, the Dodgers obtained former MVP Mookie Betts from the Boston Red Sox. Betts immediately transformed the Dodgers’ culture and used his experience as a former champion to become one of the team’s leaders.
Betts also hit 292 with 16 home runs and 39 RBI’s in the shortened season, finishing second in National League MVP voting. He went on to also have an excellent postseason, including several run saving defensive plays. The Dodgers are truly blessed to have a talent such as Betts as they look to repeat as champions.
